 Just
who are we? Scuttlebutt is a duo of artists who traverse
the anime convention circuit. We've been participating
in artist alleys for about two years now and while our
travels have taken us all over the country (and in fact,
the world), the majority of our cons are in our home
state of California. As well as selling our fan badges,
we also sell stickers, magnets and prints. We also do
logo, website and tattoo design.
We're located in San Diego, California. Jess (on the
left) does all of the line work that you see in our
badges and Kim (right) does the color.
If you've ever come by our booth and found us not there,
it's probably because we're off getting ready for a
masquerade! Aside from our time in the artist alley at
cons, we are also avid cosplayers and part of the group
GomuGomu no Cosplay and we
participate in a lot of the cosplay competitions here in
California.
When we're not traveling (or sewing...) we're big
science fiction/fantasy fans as well as supporting our
favorite anime. Our long standing love is One Piece, as
you might be able to tell by our layout! Currently we're
also obsessed with Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Fairy Tail
and Gurren Lagann. We're gamers as well (even if Kim
sucks at video games) especially of the survival horror
type. Silent Hill forever!
